On Saturday, Aug. 29, students who have petitioned the university to live on campus due to hardships associated with distance learning will arrive on campus to move into residence halls. The students are going to be directed to Mason Hall for COVID testing from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. During this time, the following roads will be closed: Mason Hall Drive and the attached private drive that services Malone Hall, Shriver Hall, Croft Hall, Maryland Hall, Krieger Hall, MSEL, the Mattin Center, the South Energy Plant, and the Baltimore Museum of Art. Only essential vehicles from the Facility shops (South Plant, HVAC/Plumbing, Electric, and Carpentry) will be allowed on these roads during the time period.
All scheduled deliveries will need to be rescheduled. All construction activity occurring in the referenced buildings will be suspended during the day; all dumpsters will be picked up by Friday, Aug. 28, and not returned to campus until Monday, Aug. 30, so as to clear the roads of all obstructions.
