Call for graduate student tutors at the Writing Center

Are you a graduate student in the KSAS/Whiting School of Engineering? Are you interested in helping Hopkins students develop and refine their writing? The Writing Center offers well-paid positions for graduate student tutors who have demonstrable skills in crafting a written argument and a desire to work with fellow undergraduate and graduate students. Graduate tutors work one or two shifts per week (at four hours per shift), where they conduct one-on-one appointments with students in addition to managing their fellow tutors. You will be paid for the entire shift even if an appointment cancels or a slot remains unfilled.

The Writing Center is an invaluable resource for students on campus. Of the students who have used it, 95% rated their appointment as "helpful" or "very helpful," and 99% affirmed that they would recommend the Writing Center to a friend. Come be part of an excellent team of tutors in a stimulating work environment!
