Pre-Retirement Program for faculty and staff: Your Ideal Retirement—Financial Planning With Bill Leeb

As part of Benefits & Worklife's Pre-Retirement Program for JHU faculty and staff, Bill Leeb, president of Financial Council, presents a two-part financial planning seminar to help you prepare for retirement. It is scheduled for 9 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, June 23.

Leeb's financial planning presentation will first cover strategies to help you estimate how much you will need to save for retirement and potential threats to your savings such as health care, inflation, market risk, taxes, and more. The second half of the session will help you better understand various types of investments, the relationship between stocks and bonds, asset allocation, withdrawal strategies, and how emotion affects investor behavior. A Q&A will follow.
