GreenHacks is JHU's first sustainability-focused hackathon. Our mission is to inspire individuals from different academic and personal backgrounds to collaborate on solving sustainability issues. Given the drastic impacts that the COVID-19 pandemic is having on the world, we will be holding a virtual mini-hackathon the weekend of May 23-24. The goal is to bring together all JHU campuses, assess areas of critical COVID-19 needs, and develop creative solutions to these challenges. It is clear that the impacts of this pandemic directly intersect with sustainability, and yet these issues are overlooked. GreenHacks hopes to bring light to these issues among all participants.
