Organized in collaboration with the Center for Educational Resources, the symposium will highlight the projects that were funded by the Digital Education and Learning Technology Acceleration, or DELTA, grants and will also feature presentations and a poster session. The keynote address will be delivered by Bryan Alexander of Georgetown University, followed by a live Q&A with the speaker. Alexander is an internationally known futurist, researcher, writer, speaker, consultant, and teacher, working in the field of how technology transforms education. His latest book, Academia Next: The Futures of Higher Education, was published in January by Johns Hopkins University Press.
The goals of the symposium are provoking conversation, fostering emerging networks, and inspiring the next wave of creative thinking about teaching with learning technology.
