In this course, students will work on a six-week photography project that reflects their artistic sensibility and results in a portfolio of images. They will develop their ideas within a seminar format that allows for conversation and debate and provides a forum for the evolution of content, style, and technique in their work. Weekly lectures will concentrate on elements of composition as evidenced by the great masters of photography. Students from the fall section of this class may continue working on their projects or start new ones. New students welcome!
Students should be proficient in camera operation and post-processing.
Classes will be held in the Center for Visual Arts digital lab on the Homewood campus. Enrollment is limited, so register early.
