The lab for computational auditory perception is seeking volunteers for a research study on brainwaves (EEG) and sound perception. The goal is to understand how the mind and brain process sounds. Participants will earn $10 per hour, and be provided with a rare opportunity to observe their own brainwaves.
Participants must be between 18 and 35 years old with no history of hearing problems, neurological impairments (e.g. epilepsy), psychiatric impairments (e.g. schizophrenia) or severe head injury (i.e. loss of consciousness for more than 30 minutes). Those interested in participating should contact:

This research is conducted under the direction of Dr. Mounya Elhilali, and will take place in Barton Hall, Homewood campus.
