The Johns Hopkins Society for Biomaterials Chapter will host the annual Mid-Atlantic Biomaterials Day on Saturday, Feb. 29, in collaboration with the University of Maryland Society for Biomaterials Chapter. This is a research conference featuring speakers from all fields of biomaterials, including research, industry, and consulting. This year's theme is "Cross-disciplinary Biomaterials: Innovative Solutions for a Better World." The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Bloomberg 272.
Additionally, if you have biomaterials-related research that you would like to present, submissions will be accepted for five-minute rapid-fire research presentations that you can present at the conference, as well as a poster session to feature your research! Please email your presentations to jhu.sfb@gmail.com if you would like to do a rapid-fire presentation, and register your posters and presentations at the following links if you would like to present:

The last day to register a rapid-fire talk is Sunday, Feb. 23, and the last day to register a poster is Thursday, Feb. 27. The top presentations will receive an award from the conference. You may also register as a general attendee here.
