The World Health Organization has named 2020 the International Year of the Nurse and the Midwife, and to champion nurses both here and abroad, Jhpiego is partnering with NursingNow and the International Council of Nurses to sponsor a global photography contest to showcase them and their work.
The submissions will be judged in five categories: Nurse at Work, Future Nurse, Where I'm a Nurse, Why I'm a Nurse, and the Impact of Nurses. An award of $200 will be given in each of those categories, along with $500 for a People's Choice winner, and $1,000 for Best in Show.
