Audition for the Barnstormers' 2020 Spring Musical: "Bare: A Pop Opera," a coming-of-age rock musical that focuses on a group of students and their struggles at their private Catholic boarding school. Rehearsals begin the week of February 10 and show dates are April 3, 4, 10, 11 at 8pm and April 5 and 12 at 3pm.
Auditions will be held on Friday, February 7 from 5-8:30pm in Shaffer 302 and Saturday, February 8 from 10am-2pm in Mattin 160. Audition slots will be in fifteen minute increments, and attendance is only needed on one day. It is preferred to sign up for a time in advance, but walk-ins are welcome.
Please come prepared with 32 bars of a song in the style of the show (pop/rock musical theatre NOT from Bare), and please bring sheet music for it as well. The directors have also requested 32 bars of a contrasting song (i.e. something uptempo would pair with a ballad).

Acting/vocal and dance callbacks will be held on Sunday, February 9. The dance call will likely consist of a short bit of choreography. If none of the audition times or callback times work, please email jhubarnstormers@gmail.com as soon as possible.
