The Office of Sustainability has developed a new Hopkins Sustainability Listserv, open to all members of the university community. Many Hopkins affiliates have shared a desire to more easily exchange information about important sustainability news, events, and opportunities, and an open listserv will serve as a valuable tool to allow members of the Hopkins community to share information with one another.
The listserv will be managed by the Office of Sustainability, but the tool serves as an open platform for all students, faculty, and staff. The listserv will allow for better communication between university stakeholders and for effective sharing of ideas and opportunities across Hopkins' many campuses.
Membership is entirely opt in, though we encourage you to join and utilize this as a way to share valuable news and resources. The listserv will not replace deliberate emails to specific sustainability subgroups at Hopkins, such as the SLC, Green Teams, etc., but will be used as a platform for improving communication and strengthening the Hopkins sustainability community.
If you are interested in subscribing, send an email to sympa@lists.johnshopkins.edu with the word "subscribe" in the body. Subscribers are welcome to opt in or opt out at any time—membership is completely voluntary.
