Starting Monday, Jan. 20, invasive species are being removed from the area south of the old Carnegie Building. The removal includes primarily Ailanthus trees (tree of heaven) and English ivy. Native species in the area will be retained. There will be periodic disruptions to the pathway along San Martin Drive in that area, but all pedestrian avenues will remain open.
