Flexible part-time job with evening hours ($11 - $11.75/hr)

Student Fundraisers contact alumni, parents, and friends of Johns Hopkins University and ask for their support of the JHU Annual Fund. The Annual Fund provides support for many things around campus including scholarships and financial aid, library resources, faculty recruitment and retention and classroom and laboratory equipment (to name a few). Basic duties include:

· Contacting alumni and parents via telephone to help them stay connected with the Johns Hopkins University and ask for monetary support.

· Presenting a positive image of the university by being a reflection of the university's mission at all times.

Student Fundraisers are required to work a minimum of three 3-hour shifts (9.75 hours) per week, but can work more if time permits. Calling shifts are held on Sunday 1:30-4:45 PM and 5:00-8:15 PM and Monday- Thursday 5:45-9:00 PM and Friday 3:45-7:00 PM.

The Development Office works to make the JHU Phonathon a great work environment by offering bonuses and incentives (pizza, snacks, gift cards, candy) for motivated callers and it is a great place to meet other people.
