Crosswalk construction at Charles and 33rd streets

Beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 30, contractors will be closing the crosswalk on the east side of the intersection of Charles Street and 33rd Street, between Charles Commons and the Blackstone. On the same day, the crosswalk across Charles Street on the south side of that intersection will reopen. Signage will be in place directing pedestrians around work zones. While this construction is underway, pedestrians should use the sidewalk on the west side of Charles Street, or the crosswalk at St. Paul Street, when traveling north/south in this area. This work is expected to continue until mid-November.
