The Center for Educational Outreach is hosting Family Engineering Day on Saturday, Nov. 9, for elementary school students. This year's program," Explore Space!," engages family teams in a one-day engineering challenge where they'll design, build, and test a prototype of a space suit used for extreme space exploration. The day will consist of a planetarium show, an exploration of the James Webb Space Telescope, and tours of the Offit Telescope.
Volunteers are needed to serve as team coaches throughout the event, which runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with lunch included. Please email STEMOutreach@jhu.edu by Nov. 1 if you're interested in volunteering.
