The Johns Hopkins Center for OCD, Anxiety, and Related Disorders in Children (COACH) is conducting a research study to determine whether healthy individuals learn and get rid of fear differently than do individuals who suffer from anorexia nervosa.
Females between the ages of 18 and 26 are eligible to participate. Participation involves:
- Completion of an interview and standardized forms about psychiatric symptoms
- Two visits to Johns Hopkins, which may involve up to four hours of total participation time
- Completion of a computer task using immersive virtual reality
Participants will be paid up to $100.
