Jeannette Miller, of the National Fellowships Program, will offer info sessions about the Truman Scholarship, which provides funding for graduate school as preparation for a career in government or public service. Undergrads with a strong academic record (GPA 3.5+) are encouraged to join us. Especially relevant for juniors.
For faculty: If you know of undergrads with strong academic records (GPA 3.5+) who would be a good match for the Truman Scholarship, please encourage them to join us.
Two information sessions will be held:
Tuesday, Nov. 5, 5 p.m. (Gilman 75)
Friday, Nov. 8, noon (Center for Social Concern, 3103 N. Charles St.)
The Truman pre-app deadline is TBD (typically in late November). For more information, including a list of info sessions and workshops for the rest of the semester, see the National Fellowships Program website.
