DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) offers scholarships to fund a year of study (for graduating seniors or recently graduated students) or research (for graduate students) at any university in Germany in any field of study. Students in artistic/creative fields may also apply to complete a program of additional studies, with or without earning a formal degree, at a German institute of higher education.
