Emotions often act as a bridge between our bodies and minds. By practicing yoga, survivors can find a union between seemingly disconnected and challenging aspects of themselves, building the pieces into an integrated whole. Yoga's focus on self-acceptance provides survivors with tangible benefits that can become transformational and healing.
This eight-week mind/body workshop for students will be held on Tuesdays from 4:15 to 5:45 p.m. beginning on Oct. 1. Students should register by calling Leslie Leathers at the Counseling Center at 410-516-8278 or emailing lleathe3@jhu.edu for more information and to schedule a pre-screen appointment by September 30.
