Update: Construction around 33rd Street and St. Paul Street

As construction work continues for the Charles Village Streetscape project, there will be a few changes in the area of 33rd Street and St. Paul Street.

Beginning on Monday, Sept. 16, the MTA bus stop at the SW corner of 33rd and St. Paul streets will be temporarily relocated to the SE corner of 33rd and St. Paul, next to the Subway. This temporary relocation is expected to be in place through the end of October. Also on Monday, Sept. 16, the bus stop for the Charm City Circulator Purple Route will move from 33rd and St. Paul streets to its permanent location at the corner of 32nd and St. Paul.

Beginning on or about Tuesday, Sept. 17, construction work will begin on the sidewalk areas around the Bradford building. Construction crews will be replacing curbs and upgrading sidewalks along St. Paul Street and 33rd Street, work that will result in some temporary pedestrian detours. Fencing and signage will be installed directing pedestrians around any work areas.

On Monday, Sept. 16, the northbound service lane and parking lanes in the 3100 block of St. Paul Street will be reopened to vehicles.
