In last spring's course Rethinking the American Revolution: What Was It Really About?, we examined the diverse ways in which the American Revolution has been presented and interpreted by historians, focusing on the war's causes, character, impact, and consequences. We also used the Revolution as a lens to better understand today's great political divide over what America is and should be.
This course includes a two-hour review session on the Homewood campus, plus the option of a group visit to the Museum of the American Revolution in Philadelphia.
