Baltimore City Public Schools has seen a strong correlation between student access to school uniforms and student attendance. Starting the school year with new uniforms helps build confidence in students and allows them to better focus on classwork.
Visit the Adopt-a-Student Uniform Drive page of the Work, Life and Engagement website to sponsor a student. A donation of $40 purchases two school uniforms. The deadline for donations is 5 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 23. Credit cards are accepted.
