Crane at Garland Hall on Saturday

A crane will be set up from 6 a.m. to approximately 2 p.m. on the driveway between Clark Hall and Hodson Hall on Saturday, June 22, to lift new elevator equipment up to the Garland Hall roof.

The driveway between Clark and Hodson halls, including the service vehicle and motorcycle parking spaces, will be closed. A portion of the sidewalk along the west side of Garland Hall will be closed to pedestrians.

Entry into Garland Hall via the south side entrance doors will not be affected. The north entrance to Clark Hall will be closed during this time, so entry into Clark should be via the east, south, or west entrances. The south entrance to Hodson Hall also will be closed during this time, so entry into Hodson should be via the east or north entrances. Personnel onsite will direct pedestrian traffic away from the area during crane operations, and there will be signage indicating closures.
