BEAD is short for Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Data Management, and the mission of BEAD Core is to further research in these areas. Part of the BEAD Core Workshop Series, this session is scheduled for 8 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 31; it is sponsored by the Bayview Vice Dean's Office and the School of Medicine's departments of Medicine and Pediatrics. During the workshop, the BEAD Core research team will provide a basic framework for exploratory data analysis using Stata; discuss the importance of, and methods for, ensuring reproducibility in research; and provide an overview of how, when, and why to use Epic data for research.
