Male participants needed for fMRI memory development study

The Chai Lab in the Johns Hopkins SOM's Department of Neurology is seeking participants for a research study on memory.

Participating in this study involves one (2-2.5 hr) visit to the Kennedy Krieger Institute (707 N Broadway) on the Johns Hopkins East Baltimore campus. Participation consists of a 45-minute MRI scanning session, where the participant will perform memory exercises, followed immediately by a behavioral testing session lasting 60-90 minutes and consisting of more exercises and questions. Compensation is $30 per hour for time inside the MRI, $20 per hour for time outside the MRI.

To be eligible to participate, you must:

  • be a healthy, male adult between the ages of 18 and 25
  • have no history of any developmental, neurological, or psychiatric conditions
  • have no metal in your body
  • be right-handed
  • be a native English speaker
