This independent study focuses on the connection between human trafficking and pornography consumption. Its aim is to measure behavioral and perceptual change by applying psychology concepts, education, and public health knowledge for anti–human trafficking efforts. This project has previously been awarded the Dean's Undergraduate Research Award thrice to fully fund the investigation.
Through this experience you will become familiar with formulation of research questions, experimental setup and design, process of approval from the HIRB, development of an original online tutorial, statistical analysis, scientific writing and presentation of data, and working with various faculty members in undergraduate studies.
