Charisma, the South Asian study

This research study is trying to learn more about the risks for developing cardiovascular disease and diabetes based on ancestry. The study involves two half-day visits to Johns Hopkins Children's Center for various minimal-risk procedures. All participants who complete the study will receive $400 compensation.

The Charisma study is actively enrolling individuals who are:

  • 12-21 years old
  • of South Asian, African-American, or Caucasian ancestry
