Summer employment opportunities

Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth (CTY) offers challenging academic programs that attract young learners from around the world. Students take above-level coursework in the fields of science, mathematics, writing, computer science, or the humanities over a three-week period. CTY is currently seeking staff to work with students at summer locations on the East Coast, West Coast, and in Hong Kong.

CTY hires college-age students to work as teaching assistants within the classroom, resident assistants outside the classroom, and in junior administrator roles such as residential program assistant, health assistant, and senior resident assistant (RPA and HA roles require candidates to be at least 21 years old and have a valid U.S. driver's license for insurance purposes.) CTY also hires graduate students, adjunct faculty, and individuals with independent teaching experience as instructors for courses.

All positions are salaried, and room & board is included at residential sites (travel support is included for the Hong Kong sites).

Core employment dates:

Session 1: June 20 - July 13 .
Session 2: July 13 - Aug. 3 .
