Summer PURA is a mentored undergraduate research award program providing a $4,000 stipend to help offset expenses related to working on an independent research, creative, or scholarly project with a Hopkins mentor for 10 weeks over the summer. Projects can be designed by the student or provided by their mentor, but should be independently worked on. Projects from students in any major or area of study are encouraged.
The BDP Summer Undergraduate Research Award Program is a mentored research award program providing a $4,000 stipend to help offset expenses related to staying in Baltimore for the program's 10-week duration. Interested undergraduates will have the opportunity to work with one of our world-renowned Bloomberg Distinguished Professors on a project of the BDP's choosing. Applicants will select up to four of the 25 participating BDPs they are interested in working with. The BDPs will make the final selection of students for the program.
