Each class session focuses on a different topic:

  • An overview of the city and its place in the literary imagination
  • Off the beaten path: Neighborhoods to visit and places to stay
  • Food: Finding and savoring a diverse cuisine
  • Art and music
  • Excursions outside the city
  • Festivals

The last class also includes "planning your trip," with tips and information on how to use popular travel websites and restaurant apps.
