Member of a musical performance group on campus? Hopkins Dining is looking for student groups to be highlighted during Sterling Brunches.
What: Performances during Sterling Brunch
Who: Hopkins Dining would love to feature different jazz/music performers each brunch. In the past
there have been one jazz group for the entire brunch, but it is understood that given the length of the
event this may be difficult for vocal groups, and thus there is consideration for having two to three vocal
groups during a bunch.
Dates: Feb. 10 and April 7 (Alumni Weekend)
Time: Brunch is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., depending on the type of group/how many
groups perform, groups get a half an hour paid lunch (and can
enjoy the brunch) and 2- 15 minute breaks during the brunch time. Setup
would be 9:30 to 9:45 a.m. depending on type of group.
Where: The Fresh Food Café
Payment: Besides being able to enjoy the Sterling Brunch without using a meal swipe or paying at the door, groups will be paid $600 to their organization's account (if there are multiple groups this would be split between them, based on each group's time spent performing out of the four hours) .
Benefit: Beside the brunch and the funds to their student group account, performers also get exposure and performance experience.
