HOUR's BDP Summer Undergraduate Research Program accepting applications

The BDP Summer Undergraduate Research Program offers interested undergraduates the opportunity to partner with a Bloomberg Distinguished Professor. The participating BDP faculty member and their affiliated labs and centers will provide the project, training, and guidance. Applying students are required to complete the online application, submit their resume/CV and a brief personal statement, and select up to four participating BDPs of interest. No previous experience is required (unless noted), and there is no proposal to submit. Participating BDPs and their projects or research areas will be listed on the HOUR website for review and selection.

The BDP Summer Undergraduate Research Program will pay students a $4,000 stipend (in semimonthly installments) to help offset the expense of staying at JHU over the summer. The program runs for 10 weeks, full time (40 hours/ week), from June to mid-August. Students are expected to arrange and pay for their own summer housing. All participating students are expected to present their project at the Hopkins CARES Symposium in late July.
