The ninth annual Basket Bingo, benefiting the United Way of Central Maryland, will be held from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 7, in the Glass Pavilion. Doors open at 11:30 a.m., and games start at 12:10 p.m. There are 15 bingo games, giving participants the opportunity to win 15 great baskets donated by Homewood employees and local businesses.
Fast Pass tickets ($20 in advance; $25 at the door) get you all 15 bingo games, lunch (hotdog/veggie dog, drink, chips, and cookie), raffle entries for a Recreation Center membership, and a pair of lacrosse tickets to all regular season games, as well as entry to all door prize drawings. Individual bingo cards will also be sold at the event if you prefer not to purchase a Fast Pass or if you want extra cards.
Come out and enjoy some fun and games while supporting the United Way! No prior bingo experience is required, and we have many first-time winners. Tickets are on sale now at the J-Card Office, Garland Hall; Athletics Office, Athletics & Recreation Center; MSE Library and Wolman Hall Housing Office.
