The 5K and 2 x 2.5K Relay will both take place at 9:45 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 9. The course will start right in front of the Newton H. White Athletic Center at Johns Hopkins University and wind through and around campus, finishing on Homewood Field at the 50 yard line. There is plenty of on-street parking along W. University Parkway and Charles Street, as well as additional on-campus parking. All participants will receive a complimentary Homewood Holiday 5K beer mug (or whatever other beverage you choose to use it for) and a tote bag, as well as post-race refreshments. Packet pickup will take place at the Athletic Center from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m. on race day, Sunday, Dec. 9. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the No Kid Hungry Foundation, providing meals to children in need. Awards will feature holiday gift baskets, T-shirts, and more in both age groups and overall winners.
