Call for entries: Sheridan Libraries' Student Book Collecting Contest

The 2018-19 Betty and Edgar Sweren Student Book Collecting Contest is now open! This annual contest by the Sheridan Libraries recognizes the enjoyment of reading books and the delight in shaping a thoughtful and focused book collection. All undergraduate and graduate students enrolled at Johns Hopkins University are eligible to enter. Prizes will be awarded for the top three collections in the undergraduate division and the top three collections in the graduate division. First place, second place, and Honorable Mention from each division will receive $1,000, $500, and $250, respectively.

The deadline for entries is Feb. 15.
