Free Lunch & Learn: Bike repair

Is your bike gathering dust in the corner of your basement or abandoned on a bike rack outside the library? Would you like to learn how to keep your bike rolling while enjoying a free BBQ meal catered by Blue Pit BBQ in Hampden? If yes, then this event is for you! It will be held from noon to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30, in the Glass Pavilion.

Within one hour we will cover all the basics of bike maintenance using only one tool, eat a delicious lunch, raffle away an awesome multi-tool, and work collaboratively to fix some of your bikes by employing our newly learned skills. If you are interested in bringing a bike to the event for collaborative repair, or have additional questions, email Roderick Bowlby, student reuse assistant, at rbowlby1@jhu.edu. Only a limited number of bikes will be accepted for collaborative repair.
