Take this opportunity for an organized visit to a small-scale urban farm to learn about aquaponics (a soil-less agricultural method) and engage with alternative sustainable food production. Attendees will meet at the Beach at noon and take public transport to/from the Food Systems Lab—run by JH Center for a Livable Future—at the Cylburn Arboretum. Participants can expect to be back at Homewood campus between 3:30 and 4 p.m.
