Shriver Hall roof replacement continues

On Saturday, Sept. 29, and Sunday, Sept. 30, from 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., roof replacement work on Shriver Hall will continue on the west low roof. A number of parking spaces will be closed beginning at noon on Friday, Sept. 28; they will reopen no later than 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 30. A map noting those spaces in purple is on the JH Facilities and Real Estate website.

There will be a crane onsite Saturday, Sept. 29, that will remain overnight. It will be removed on Sunday, Sept. 30, by 5:30 p.m. The crane will be located on red brick pavers between Malone Hall and Shriver Hall and that area will be fenced. The access road behind Shriver Hall from Malone Hall to Power Plant will remain open. A portion of the sidewalk along the access road will be closed. West entry doors into Shriver Hall will be closed.

Flag personnel will direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic during operations, as required, and there will be signs indicating closures. If there are any questions, contact Debbie Anderson, JHFRE project manager, at dander96@jhu.edu or call 410-218-9389.
