Make a difference in a child's life

The Adopt-A-Class Program is one of many ways that Johns Hopkins Medicine reaches out to make a positive difference in the lives of young children. This program works with 4th- and 6th-grade classrooms at local elementary and middle schools, helping young children gain awareness of the abundance of careers in health care, and planting the seed that grows a health care professional. Volunteers visit schools for one hour per month, from November to March.

An information session will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 21, at JH at Eastern, just before Fall Fest. Spanish-speaking volunteers are greatly needed. Email JHSJP@jhmi.edu for more information.
