The Freshman Retreat is an excellent opportunity for a spiritual check-in to reflect on the first few weeks of college, grow deeper in your faith, and meet fellow Catholics in the freshman class. The retreat will be led by student leaders and our chaplains, who will share their experiences and advice for navigating life as both a Catholic and a Hopkins student. There will also be small group discussions and time to explore the grounds and trails of the shrine. This is an excellent opportunity to get off Homewood campus and relieve the tension of daily academic life.

The retreat will be held Saturday, September 22, at the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Shrine in Emmitsburg, MD. Breakfast will be served at the Newman Center (2801 N Charles Street) from 8AM-9AM. Transportation to and from the shrine will be provided. The expected return to campus is 6PM. The retreat costs $5 to cover all retreat activities, transportation, and three meals.
