Pregnant and having a girl?

The study is interested in how a mother's hormones are related to her baby's hormones and behavior. Participation involves three visits from late pregnancy until your baby is 6 months of age, each lasting between 1 and 1.5 hours. To be eligible, you must be having a female baby and be a nonsmoker, at least 21 years of age, and carrying a singleton pregnancy; have no chronic health conditions prior to pregnancy; and be delivering at the main downtown hospital.

Participation includes noninvasive monitoring of fetal heart rate and movement, specimen samples, and measures of your baby's behavior as an infant. There are no known risks of participation for you or your baby. Compensation will be provided.

If you are interested in participating, contact the research coordinator, Ashley Hucht, by calling or texting 443-310-0274 or by emailing HENlab@jhu.edu.
