To be eligible, you must be a nonsmoker, at least 21 years of age, carrying a singleton pregnancy, have no chronic health conditions prior to pregnancy, and be delivering at the main downtown hospital. Participation includes noninvasive monitoring of fetal heart rate and movement, specimen samples, and measures of your baby's behavior as an infant. There are no known risks of participation for you or your baby. Compensation will be provided.
