Study seeks children with asthma

AIRWEIGHS is seeking children between the ages of 8 and 17 with a diagnosis of asthma to participate in a pediatric asthma research study. This research is being done to learn whether using air cleaners in the home to decrease air pollution will benefit childhood asthma.

Participants will be asked to complete up to four clinic visits and five home visits. Clinic visits are expected to be 3 to 3.5 hours, and transportation to and from visits will be provided. At the end of the study, participants will receive up to $400 in monetary payments and gift cards, as well as two air cleaners to keep.

If you are interested in learning more about the study, contact AIRWEIGHS staff at 410-955-1530.
