Considering a career in academia? Workshop for all disciplines

Now in its third year, this universitywide event, titled Thriving in an Academic Career, draws participants from JHU and surrounding universities. If you are thinking of pursuing a career in academia and are interested in learning more about the opportunities and challenges, this is the workshop to take! The two-day event will feature interactive sessions to give you the insight and tools to create a successful pathway to obtaining a faculty position at an institution for higher learning. Renowned experts in the field will guide you through numerous aspects of planning your career so you can thrive!

Cost is $100 for students (use code STUDENT at registration for a discount) and $300 for general public and faculty. Full-time, benefits-eligible JHU employees and faculty may submit for tuition remission.
