Hopkins Pantry opens at OMA to address student and faculty food insecurity

The Hopkins Pantry serves to tackle the issue of food insecurity on our campus by providing Blue Jays with another resource. It is located in the Office of Multicultural Affairs at 3033 N. Charles St., next to the Homewood Apartments, and is open from 6 to 8 p.m. every Tuesday and Wednesday, and from 3 to 5 p.m. on Sundays. If these hours are not convenient for you, appointments are also available by emailing hopkinspantry@gmail.com.

Before coming to the pantry, fill out the one-time intake survey.

Items available include canned goods, pasta, rice, snacks, and toiletries. For more information on stock, visit Facebook.

A strict policy of confidentiality guards the privacy of the clientele; no information is disclosed about whom the pantry serves, and all the customers respect each other's privacy.

This project is funded by an Idea Lab Acorn Grant from the Office of Sustainability.
