Summer at the Office of Undergraduate Admissions

The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is seeking current undergraduate students available for Summer 2018. Employment is for the months of May, June, July and August, but students need not be available for all months to apply. The Visitor Center is open from 8:30a-5p, Monday through Friday, with select Saturday shifts. There are two positions available: Tour Guide and Visitor Center Assistant. Preference will be given to applicants who are available for 3 hour shifts. All students will be compensated $12/hour.

Tour Guide: Undergraduate Admissions is looking for students to lead campus tours to prospective students and families. Training will be provided to students who are not currently part of Blue Key Society. Summer Tour Guides must be available for at least 2 Saturday tours over the course of the summer. Summer Tour Guides will also be given the opportunity to help with admissions events and conduct interviews.

Visitor Center Assistant: Visitor Center Assistants work at Mason Hall to facilitate the daily operations of the visitor center, including daily visits and Admissions events. Responsibilities will include working at the reception desk, answering phones, giving information sessions, leading tours, and conducting interviews. Scheduling is flexible, but students must be available to work between 10-40 hours per week and for at least three Saturdays.
