Deadline extended to submit Idea Lab proposals

The Idea Lab has extended its deadline to submit proposals for three challenges that share the theme of Ideas Bridging Divides. All submissions must be in by 10 p.m. on Monday, March 19.

The president's Ten by Twenty challenge is focused this year on improving civil discourse. Winners—some chosen by online vote, others by a committee—will receive up to $20,000 to implement their proposals.

In addition, the Idea Lab will accept proposals for the Diversity Leadership Council's annual Diversity Innovation Grants and the Office of Sustainability's Hopkins Eco-Smart Acorn Grants.

Students, faculty, and staff can sign into the Idea Lab website with their JHED IDs to submit their ideas. Online voting will take place from March 27 through April 16 and is open to all members of the Johns Hopkins community.
