Hopkins Chess Club is hosting its first USCF-rated chess tournament on Saturday, March 3, at the Mattin Center (Room 162). The tournament is USCF-rated Open, G/25 d/5. There will be four rounds. Onsite registration is from 10 to 10:30 a.m. First round is at 10:45 .am. Last round starts at 3:15 p.m. Prizes are 1st, 2nd Overall, and 1st under 1700. The entry fee is $5 (cash) if registered before March 2, $10 on site. Due to space restrictions, we are capping registration at the first 24 entries.
