All Johns Hopkins students now have access to free online training tools for professional development and supplementary learning. Skillsoft, previously available only to faculty and staff, offers e-learning courses to help students develop business, leadership, communications, and technology skills in preparation for a variety of careers and work environments. It has options to learn about time management, dealing with stress, and building work relationships. In addition, Skillsoft helps individuals maintain professional certifications in various fields, including the Lean and Six Sigma Program, the Project Management Institute (PMI), and the Human Resource Certification Institute (HRCI), among others.
Students will find Skillsoft among the exclusive resources listed on the left side of the university's career-planning website at www.jhu.edu/careerservices. The site is one of a number of new resources being introduced as part of the ongoing Student Services Excellence Initiative, which can be found at www.jhu.edu/ssei.
All JHU students, staff, and faculty may also access Skillsoft courses via myLearning.
