The Student-Athlete Advisory Committee is collecting gently used athletic shoes (yes, even cleats, but no spikes) to donate to those in need in countries including Haiti, Bolivia, and Nigeria.
Stop by the Athletic Center and/or Rec Center to drop off your athletic/running/tennis shoes—please tie them together so we can provide them to the organizations efficiently. At this time, we are not accepting regular shoes or boots. Bins will be located outside the Athletic Center front office and the entrance to the Rec Center.
The donation bin will be set up now through Feb. 9.
